AGT Foods Expansion

The Minot Area Development Corporation received exciting news at its April board meeting from Eric Bartsch, AGT Foods General Manager, who announced a $30 Million expansion to the Food Ingredient Production Facility in Minot. The expansion will double the facility capacity from 120,000 tons to 240,000 tons of peas on an annual basis and will also create 35 agtexpansion15.jpgadditional jobs.

AGT Foods selected Minot's facility for their expansion for various reasons which include:
• The existing investment in labs
• The existing investment in people
• The current facility greatly exceeded expectations
• The opportunity for additional land
• The great experience having Minot as a location

Bartsch also explained that AGT is excited for the Port expansion and new rail track. MADC greatly values the partnership with AGT Foods and is thrilled to be working with them during the expansion process.
