The first train from Minot arrived at The Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA) in early November. The new weekly intermodal service operated by Rail Modal Group (RMG) connects Minot to the NWSA gateway and supports U.S. agricultural exports. The train carried agricultural products including soybeans, dry peas, lentils, and distiller dried grains that will be shipped to customers around the world.

Greg Oberting, president and CEO of RMG, met with Port of Tacoma Commission President and NWSA Co-Chair John McCarthy and Port of Seattle Commissioner Sam Cho in Seattle earlier in November and toured the on-dock operations at one of their terminals.
