MADC has been invited by the Mayor of Telemark for a trade mission to Norway in August. For many years, Norway delegation has traveled to Minot for the Norsk Hostfest and most recently the "Bridging the Atlantic" Business to Business forum, which highlights the corporate side of the shared partnership between Norway and Minot.

MADC is excited to madcinvitednorway15.jpgreciprocate the importance of the strong relationship and will be sending five representatives to Norway this August.

As the new Telemark trade office has generated potential business opportunities for Minot, MADC understands the significance of building and continuing Minot's partnership with Norway.

The trade mission to Norway will include at least four business visits, establishing relationships with Norway government officials to solidify business efforts with Minot, and an opportunity for a greater understanding of the cultural/historical background of our ancestry.

Over the length of ten days, MADC delegation will travel to Oslo and Telemark to meet with Statoil, OPD Group, Yara, the American Chamber of Commerce and US Embassy, Tel-Tek, Telemark University College, and many more Norwegian representatives.

Between shared heritage and business commonalities; there are many similarities among Norway and the Midwest. Minot's new leadership knows the importance of collaborating and providing a unified partnership in all aspects including business, government, and tourism.
