Natural gas pipeline means more opportunities

The recent announcement by Montana-Dakota Utilities-on 375 miles of pipeline will route through Minot. Discussions between

MDU and Minot Area Development Corporation began in April 2013 to seek how best to bring new gas markets and businesses to the area. The pipeline will provide opportunities to companies that use natural gas.

Just a few uses of natural gas include the manufacture of plastics, paint, fertilizer and other operations not currently in North Dakota.
