Value-added Agriculture

The Minot Area Development Corporation is working with a California-based company, crunchfuls.jpg
Crunchfuls, Inc. as they develop a new ready-to-eat nutrition bar made from North Dakota crops including dry beans, peas, lentils and chickpeas.

Crunchfuls recently received a marketing grant from the North Dakota Department of Commerce to assist in marketing the product to the military as a recovery snack bar. Crunchfuls currently distributes other products including breakfast cereal and snacks through Whole Foods Market™.

MADC is committed to growing the value-added ag processing business through Minot's Agricultural Park. The proximity to North Dakota pulse crop growers makes Crunchfuls a natural fit for Minot.
